Our at-a-glance guide to Swansea Metropolitan University
Swansea Metropolitan University has been a major centre for vocational higher education for more than 150 years. It is based on several campuses in and around the city of Swansea, with easy access to Mumbles and the breathtaking Gower peninsula. Swansea Met offers courses under three main faculties: arts and design; applied design and engineering; and a third faculty broadly called humanities, but also encompassing accounting, business and tourism. It remains true to its historical focus of vocational education, and maintains close links with industry, commerce and public services. Its approach pays off as graduate employment rates are above the UK average.
