It's that time of the year again when pupils all over the country are finding out their A-level results – and picture editors are scratching their heads for the most suitable way to illustrate the story. Invariably they alight upon an easy on the eye female student or two. It is a tradition that Monkey has mentioned before, but never in quite the style – or depth – as this particular "sexyalevels" blog recording the "more egregious examples of the UK photo editors' tendency to promote rather more teenage flesh on A-level results day than would perhaps seem required". Its rules state:

The Platonic ideal for an A-level results day story photograph involves the following in the order named:
1) Blonde…
2) Twins…
3) Going to Oxbridge…
4) Leaping for joy…
5) Holding aloft their results…
6) …But not so high as to obscure a glimpse decolletage.

Monkey is sure there will be a lot more before the day is out.
